The Simplest "Wow"
It’s the first day of VBS. Kids spill out of cars, tumble out of vans, run, laugh, greet each other. It’s a colorful, exciting sight. And what do those kids see when they look around? A patrol car, lights flashing, in your parking lot? An officer or firefighter walking a service dog? A helicopter hovering above your church? Bright, exciting cutouts and decorations?
Everything promises a great time in VBS. But in all the planning and work to add pizzazz to your program, did you forget the simplest, most basic “wow” factor? Can you guess what it is?
